A smoother next take.
Start here for the things you do most in CueMe.
How do I create or import a script?
Open Scripts and tap Create script. Start a new script, paste from your clipboard, or import a plain-text (.txt) or Markdown (.md) document. CueMe reads the document as text. Add HOOK, PAUSE, EMPHASIS or CTA cues in the editor to guide your delivery.
How does Voice Following work?
Choose Voice Follow in Settings → Teleprompter → Playback, enable Follow my voice, and choose your speech language. Allow microphone and speech access. CueMe matches your spoken words to the script and pauses when you stop speaking. Tap a word to move to a new place. You can switch to timed scrolling if recognition is unavailable.
How do I record and save a take?
Open a script in the teleprompter, choose your camera and quality, and tap Start. After the countdown, speak to the camera. Stop to review your take, then save it to Photos or share it. CueMe keeps a local copy in Takes. Camera lenses and video quality depend on your device.
How do shoot reminders work?
Set a future date and time in a script’s schedule, then enable Shoot reminder. Allow notifications when asked. The alert is scheduled 15 minutes before your shoot, or at its start if there is less than 15 minutes remaining. Your phone’s notification and Focus settings can affect delivery.
Where is my content stored?
Your CueMe profile and onboarding status are saved in Supabase and linked to your Apple or Google sign-in through Clerk. Scripts, notes, preferences and recordings stay in an account-specific workspace on this device. Signing in on another device does not transfer scripts or recordings. Save important takes to Photos and export scripts before uninstalling or changing devices. Files you share and Photos backups follow the services you choose.
Do I need a subscription during testing?
No subscription is needed during testing. Purchases are paused, and signing in opens your workspace directly. You can create scripts, use the teleprompter and record takes without a paywall.
What should I include in a problem report?
Open Settings → Support → Send Feedback. Describe what you did, what you expected, and what happened. Include your device, app version and any error message. You choose where to share the report. Avoid including private scripts or recordings unless you intend to share them.
